Sudden Onset: The patient was perfectly fine until last evening. After exposure to a cold, dry wind, he suddenly developed a very high fever at night. Throat Condition: The throat looks bright red and inflamed. There is a severe, shooting pain, especially when swallowing liquids or saliva. Physical Appearance: His face is intensely flushed (bright red), his eyes look glassy or glittering, and his skin feels burning hot to the touch. Thirst: Despite having a very high temperature, the patient has an absolute lack of thirst (Thirstless). Mental State: He is highly restless but at the same time feels drowsy and sluggish due to the intense heat of the fever. He occasionally starts or jumps during sleep. Modalities Aggravation (What makes it worse): Worse from cold air, at night (around 3 PM or midnight), and from the slightest touch. Amelioration (What makes it better): Throat pain feels slightly better by warm drinks or external warmth.
